Today is the 5th day for sungkai buffet at Kaka restaurant, so far so good but not to the point the seats are all fully booked. Well, its been expected as for now most people still prefer having their sungkai at home. Even for me, this year mostly every day my family sungkai at home with my mother. Also this year, my brothers and their families also sungkai with us every day so thats why I prefer sungkai at home rather than sungkai outside, save budgets also...hehehe.... Usually every year, at least once a week we would go to sungkai buffet at some restaurants but this year I felt lazy to go out. The good thing when we break fast at home, we can eat at out own sweet time rather than rushing ourselves.

Bersungkai with 'special kids' from Pusat Ehsan
Last thursday, about 80 students and teachers from Pusat Ehsan together with some members from media were invited for sungkai buffet at Kaka restaurant. I had been planning to do this charity for quite some times but did not manage to find the right time so when someone brought uo this matter to me recently, I decided to invite them during puasa. This also mark the beginning of sungkai buffet at my restaurant. Among other things, this event also mark the 1st anniversary of Kaka Restaurant which was on 15th August 2009.

Hello....Glad to be back
Salam people... I know i owe an apology to whoever have come across my blog for not updating for so long. Yes, the last time I updated this blog was December last year. My god, that was too long. I have no other explanation other that I was too damn lazy. Yes, I was busy but still that was not an excuse. I did not even make an effort to visit my own blog for a few months!!! Now, its Ramadhan and this is what compelled me to write and update my blog. Why? Because its been 1 year since Kaka Retaurant operated, to be exact on 15th August 2008. It seems like yesterday when I started my restaurant. Alhamdulillah, business has been good and improving but I do admit that to maintain it, took a lot of effort and time. The good thing is, at the end of the day, all those hard work pays off. Even if I am saying that the business is quite good, I still harbour a dream to be more successful in the future but then again, who does not. Everyone of us has a dream to be rich, succesfull and many more. So, now I am still climbing that ladder and I am not even half of that ladder yet. People often said, life is like a wheel, sometime you are up there and the next moment, you are down. I had been there, I mean, down there but I have not taste yet how it feel to be up there having your dreams and wishes come true and have mostly everything that you could only wished for. Sighhh..... Enough of this, for now I am just trying to improve whether in business or my life as a whole. God bless....
A lot of things had happened since the last time I updated this blog, obviously....:). But to put all those events now in this blog is quite impossible a task since I could not remember all the events and the data because the time frame is way too long. One thing that I learned, I do not want to make a promise to update this blog everyday. I admit that I am not really into this "blog" so I will just try to update it as and when I am really free and interested. So long for now peeps...:)

Happy Birthday Wanie
On the 18th of December was my youngest princess's birthday, Syazwanie but the birthday celebration was only done on the 20th at the Empire Hotel & Country Club. Actually, it was a last minute planning, we had planned to hold the party at home with bouncer and so on but then decided to check in at the Empire Hotel for a change and also because my princesses kept asking to go swimming at Imperial Hotel in Miri. So, that was how it happened. For the birthday cake, we also decided something new, we ordered cupcakes from cits rather than ordering the usual birthday cakes. Well, not many people were invited, only the 'small' cousins were invited, the 'big' cousins were only informed so that wanie got her birthday presents (hahaha.....). We had fun at the Empire Hotel, it was a great weekend for us especially the princesses. On Sunday they even woke up early morning to go swimming. Anyway, i personally felt it was a good way to spend the holiday rather than go to Miri or KK

Syura's School Concert
Syura's school, Bright Jigsaw International School at Salambigar hold a concert at ICC on November, 19th. I know I should have posted this month ago but, ok, no more reasons. Lets proceed, Syura took part in a congo dance in her school's concert. Hehehe.... she enjoyed it so much that she even dance at home whenever we asked her to do it but only half on the dance cos she said in oerder for her to dance, she must has a boy partner...hahahaha....so much for a little kid. Well, it was a couple dance anyway and her dance partner was her classmate name Brian. She kept telling us that she likes the dance and hope to participate again next year. She even wear her costume at home! She looks so cute on the stage during the performance. Hope next year, she will participate in another school concert again. But next year she will be in a different school but I will make sure she will participate in whatever her school concert require her to do.
"look there, that's my family"....

School Holidays..
Hey peeps... Im back, I dont want to waste ur time by elaborating or explaining why I only managed to update my blog now, well, I was too lazy. I did try hard to update it but Im at loss to explain what had gotten into me that made me reluctant and too lazy to update my own blog.
Now, its holiday time, I know that I should have more time considering that I dont have to send my princesses' to school but when they are at home, they occupied more of my time than before, nevertheless, I enjoyed spending time with them. But, most of their time, they just spending time playing computer games in the internet. How time change, when I was a small kid like them, I only played games like 'batu simban', 'getah', 'belon' and other traditional games. When I was at their age, I didnt even know what a computer is...:) In fact, I was surprised how they (kaka, syasya & syura) managed to know the website for the games in the internet. The games that they are playing, even I myself dont know how to play them.
Well, I guess in the modern time nowadays, computer is a norm to all kids. The setback is, both the computers at home are always booked by them, so that is one of the many reasons why I only managed to update now. Kaka even told me to buy another computer so that she and her two sisters, syasya & syura can play computer games simultaneously. Just imagine, nearly everyday they tend to fight for the right to play computer games, from the moment they wake up until its bed time. Luckily, wanie is now only 3 years old and still dont know how to play computer games.
I do have planning to go oversea and bring my family for vacations but I am on a tight budget now. My priority now is to expand my business first and make savings. Moreover, I am not keen to go to Miri or KK during December cos most people got their bonus at this time and would have the same ideas and most importantly I hate long queues at the imigration checkpoints! So, maybe I will bring my family next year in March, if panjang umur and murah rezeki, Amin....
